New Home – New Locks

by | Apr 9, 2014 | 2014 Posts, Uncategorised | 0 comments

The TODO list when moving house can seem endless, however there is one very important thing that should be close to the top of everyone’s list: You need to change your locks. Firstly: If you’ve just moved into a new home, congratulations! Whether you’re buying your first home, or moving into another.. these are stressful but exciting times for everyone. If a key is used to enter your home and items are stolen, your contents insurance is invalid.. void.. annulled..

Think of how many keys there could actually be to your property. If you’re struggling, let us suggest the ‘spare key’ possibilities: Parents, Siblings, Children, Neighbours, Tradesmen, Window Cleaners, Gardeners, Previous Tenants, Previous Landlords, Estate Agents, Letting Agents, House Builders.. to name a few.

We can’t stress how important it is to change your locks, and so we’re launching our new service. In conjunction with the ThinkSecure.org.uk discount scheme, we’re offering new home owners a discounted price on having their locks changed by one of our locksmiths.

Using our online instant quote system, you can see exactly how much it’s going to cost. You can even opt to have our best selling safe installed at the same time. Just enter the number of each type of doors you have, along with the first part of your postcode and you’ll receive an instant quotation.

– Quote for offline, please call us on 0116 2628899

Want to have a go at changing the locks yourself? To make life easy, we highly recommend you leave someone in the house, whilst bringing your existing locks to our retail showroom on London Road, Leicester. This way, we can find the closest possible match from our large stocks, and keep the alterations to your door minimal.

The only restrictions in place for our offer are:

    • We have to carry out the work within 60 days of moving into your new home.
    • Proof of purchasing your new home must be provided.
    • This offer is only valid for properties within Leicestershire and Rutland.

As always, if you require any further advice, don’t hesitate one of our locksmiths on 0116 2628899.
